Infographics are going to blow up in 2010, so it is time to get familiar. One enterprising blogger has taken up the project of creating an infographic for every episode of NPR's "This American Life" as part of a New Years resolution.

Scenes from the Desert- Holiday 2009

Over Christmas and New Years this year, I spent seven days at our place in the Mojave Desert surrounded by family and wilderness. Activities included eating, sleeping, and hiking in various orders. At 2 1/2, Eddie became fully initiated into Monson traditions of funny hats on New Years, a strictly regimented afternoon nap, and trying to remember which napkin ring is yours. I also engaged in several craft projects, which I will be writing about soon and bought some sweet cacti at the Living Desert.
