Frankies Sputino, Yum

Nowness has been really impressing me with their photo content and these pictures from Frankies Sputino are no exception. It helps that Frankies is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Drooling just thinking about dinner and it's 8am.

Side note, if anyone wants to buy me the Frankies Sputino Kitchen Companion & Cooking Manual I wouldn't complain.

101 Sandwiches, But a PB&J Ain't One

Out of NY Mag's list of the 101 Best Sandwiches in New York I've had 10, not bad for someone who isn't a sandwich person. Nine out of ten are pictured here. I only left off Chick-fil-A not because it's any less of a sandwich, but because NY Mag couldn't manage to get an actual image of a Chick-fil-A sandwich. An icon cannot do that icon justice. Now if only more of these were convenient to 59th and Madison.

La New Yorkina at The Hester Street Fair

Things I can speak highly about: La New Yorkina's popsicles at the Hester Street Fair. They are simply beyond. I'm eating the coconut here, but the passion fruit is amazing as well. I could go to the fair every weekend just to pick up a pop.
