I'll admit that this trend did have me confused for a while, I tried on the cutest maxi dress at the store only to find that it swallowed me and made me look pregnant. Not a good look for summer. If you're petite like I am and you're searching for the perfect maxi look don't be afraid to go down a size or maybe even two until you find one that gives you the look you are going for. Also opt for styles that feature adjustable straps or halter styles so that you can fit the dress more for your particular body type. Do your self a favor and stay far away from strapless styles this will only make you look bigger and will do nothing for your silhouette. Also be sure to wear heels for added sex appeal and height.

For the taller girls maxi dresses can be your best accessory. You can rock the strapless styles with ease since it's perfect for your body type. Add heels for even more height and be sure to add bangles on your wrist for added bohemian feel. If you're more on the curvy side you can wear maxi dresses as well. 101 Sandwiches, But a PB&J Ain't One

Out of NY Mag's list of the 101 Best Sandwiches in New York I've had 10, not bad for someone who isn't a sandwich person. Nine out of ten are pictured here. I only left off Chick-fil-A not because it's any less of a sandwich, but because NY Mag couldn't manage to get an actual image of a Chick-fil-A sandwich. An icon cannot do that icon justice. Now if only more of these were convenient to 59th and Madison.
